This rad couple planned and executed the perfect PNW destination celebration at this Horning’s Hideout Wedding in North Plains, OR. Lori and Austin wanted to share the lush green forests and rich Oregon details with their California friends and family by flying them up for their very special weekend celebrations. From trapper tents for the wedding party to a mobile camper trailer bar serving drinks to their guests all night long, this Cali couple got the uniquely Oregon wedding of their dreams.
Lori and Austin knew the key for setting the tone of their wedding would be finding the perfect venue, and Horning’s Hideout did not disappoint. With three distinct and picturesque areas perfect for an outdoor wedding, there is a space for every couple. Whether you are dreaming of being creekside, lakeside or on top of a more formal stage over the lake, each area offers a different experience for you and your guests. And each area offers different amenities and seating options letting you design your perfect Horning’s Hideout wedding.

Rad Wedding vendors
Entertainment took on 3 very different forms at this Horning’s Hideout Wedding. Outside of the bumping jams and live music provided by the ever-talented Jordan Harris Music, The Power Of Love Rentals offered a gaggle of giant lawn games to keep guests moving and The Poetry Store had a live poet on-site stationed at an antique typewriter who would write you a custom poem for you based on a word of your choice. These sweet little custom poems were literally my favorite thing ever. I’m convinced that everyone now needs a poet at their wedding!
Custom drapery, designed by Bower Bird Events, was flanked by the dramatic lighting presented by Greenlight Creative. The Happy Matic had one of their innovative photo booths live at the wedding, capturing the memories of guests between bites of Reedville Catering delicious food.
Lori wore a stunning Amanda James Bridal dress for the ceremony. And can I just stress how INCREDIBLE it was?!? OMG. Swoon. It also had a detachable skirt that converted to a pantsuit for the reception with a flick of the wrist and I’m still freaking out over it’s amazingness. And the hair and makeup by our ever-favorite Marina Haynes Artistry plus the lovely blooms by Fieldwork Flowers were the perfect finishing touches.
